Starman builds on the skills and techniques I developed in Starship From Mars, refining processes such as 3D printing, CAD design, clay sculpting, silicone casting, resin casting, and electronics. This project features a 3D-printed rocket and helmet within a resin-cast environment, illuminated by integrated LED lights to create a dynamic, glowing effect. The piece combines technical precision with creative design, resulting in a futuristic aesthetic that highlights my ability to blend multiple mediums. Unlike Starship From Mars, where I was learning many of these techniques for the first time, Starman allowed me to approach challenges with confidence. I refined the resin casting for better stability, optimized the lighting for even illumination, and improved mold designs for a more polished finish. This project demonstrates my growth in problem-solving, iteration, and creating cohesive, visually impactful designs.
