CyberJack
Class Project // 11.09.23 – 12.14.23
CyberJack is a tech-wear-inspired jacket that combines wearable storage with customizable functionality. Made with a polyester lining and exterior, along with a felt layer for added warmth, the jacket features webbing loops for attaching carabiners and Velcro sections for personalized adjustments. The design prioritizes both practicality and style, making it highly adaptable for various uses, from outdoor adventures to everyday convenience. This project allowed me to explore sewing for the first time, learning the intricacies of garment construction and durability. I also utilized laser cutting to precisely create the fabric patterns, ensuring a professional and accurate fit for the jacket’s design. Additionally, I used 3D printing to create custom carabiners that integrate seamlessly with the jacket’s webbing loops. By blending traditional crafting techniques with modern technology, CyberJack became a unique fusion of precision, style, and practicality, demonstrating how diverse skills can work together to produce innovative and functional wearables.
